The US Senate approved by an overwhelming majority, on Thursday, the bill gives Congress the right to review and possibly reject any international agreement with Iran on its nuclear program.
It means approval by the Senate to refer the bill to the House of Representatives, which is expected to be considered soon, probably next week.
The forecast indicated that the Board's approval of the law without any significant obstacles.
It is noteworthy that the White House had said that President Barack Obama will sign the project, if approved by the House of Representatives also, as expected, to become a law.
